After walking around Kurfürstendamm and shopping we decided to take a break and visit Amorino, one of our favourite ice cream places in Berlin. Not only is the ice cream and sorbet at Amorino extremely tasty, it is also made with the best quality ingredients from all over the world. They have a large variety of flavours to chose from, from the classics like strawberry and chocolate to sudachi (a Japanese citrus fruit) and pistachio.
Something that makes Amorino unique besides the amazing ice cream is that if you order a cone, the ice cream is placed to look like a rose, which makes it very cute and great for pictures.
It was quite difficult to decide which flavours we should get but we decided to get lime and basil, strawberry, and mango, and raspberry, sudachi and strawberry in a classic cone.
Not only does Amorino offer delicious ice cream, but also macaroons, waffles, crepes, coffee, frappés, etc. We only ordered ice cream but the waffles looked soooo good too.
The ice cream is a bit pricey compared to other ice cream places in Berlin (Small – €3.50, Classic – €4.50, Large – €5.50) , but it’s totally worth it.
Overall, even though it is a bit expensive, Amorino is a great ice cream place and we highly recommend it since the ice cream is amazing and the ingredients are mainly BIO and high quality.
